We asked our writers to tell us how they first started in horror, and explain to us what they love about the genre, and what scares them. This week we focus on Veronica Jauregui.
Author Veronica Jauregui has been voraciously reading and writing horror since she was a child. She brings that passion and energy to our Fragments of Fear presentation of Nasty Little Nightmare, a deliciously twisted tale of a vengeful nun.
Veronica Jauregui started reading Science Fiction and Horror at a very young age, her grandmother; an avid reader of horror, pulp magazines and comics, encouraged her to write. As a child, she loved frightening her classmates with her stories and hopes to do the same to her readers. Her stories, A Filthy Habit, 13 Days After the Storm, and The Lake were published in the Writers’ Anarchy series.
Veronica was born in Los Angeles, CA and lives in Rosarito, Mexico. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
