We asked our writers to tell us how they first started in horror, and explain to us what they love about the genre, and what scares them. This week we focus on James Stanger.
James Stanger is an accomplished short story writer with work in publications such as The BHF Book of Horror, Black Book of Horror, and Filthy Creations.
His two Fragments of Fear episodes are the dystopian Bull, and the delightfully twisted fairy story Something Else Came.
He is also:
- a prolific photographer with a penchant for abstract nightscapes and brooding portraits of abandoned buildings and objects.
- a native of Barnes, South West London
- currently working on collection of new short stories titled Butcher’s Dozen
What scares YOU?
